GE Capital Fleet Services was announced as ‘Leasing Company of the Year' at the 2010 Fleet News Awards, held on Wednesday 17th March at Grosvenor House in London's Park Lane.

Recognised for our sustained focus on service, product and innovation, the GE team was commended for our investment in a range of industry leading tools, including the latest version of our iQuote quote and ordering application, iManage analysis tool and iReport portal.

Reflecting on the decision, the judges also noted the excellent variety of initiatives that GE Capital Fleet Services has in place to support our customers and that offer detailed savings plans to board directors and drivers alike, ensuring buy-in at both levels.

A particular mention was reserved for our Key Solutions team in driving continual improvement across all aspects of our customers' fleets where we have received highly complimentary feedback from decision-makers over the course of the last 12 months whilst identifying savings in excess of £30million.

Through the constant development of forward looking initiatives for our customers it is clear that we are being rewarded for pursuing, setting and acting on a customer driven agenda.

Ultimately, this award is a tribute to the whole team at GE and our strong customer partnerships. Our commitment is to continue to provide innovative solutions tailored to our customers' needs and we look forward to building on our strengths throughout 2010.

In addition to the award for GE Capital Fleet Services, customers of GE Capital won three awards and received one highly commended award.
